For the past 24 hours Anatahan volcanic seismicity has been low, at a level
similar to that of the past couple of weeks. There were no apparent eruption signals
or potential precursory events. Tremor is at a low level. No significant local tectonic event
has taken place.
The network recorded one teleseism from an 8:39 M6 earthquake near New Ireland in
Papua New Guinea.
