For the past 24 hours, Anatahan volcanic seismicity has been low, at
a level similar to that of the past month or so. There were no apparent
eruption signals or precursory events. Tremor and seismic energy release
are low.

For the past 24 hours, Anatahan volcanic seismicity has been low, at
a level similar to that of the past month or so. There were no apparent

For the past 24 hours, Anatahan volcanic seismicity has remained low,
at a level similar to that of the past month or so. There were no apparent
eruption signals or precursory events. Tremor and seismic energy release
are low.
A recurring source region for seismicity southwest of Anatahan produced
nearly 20 recorded events on the seismic network beginning around 0900
UTC. These events are roughly the same distance from the Sarigan and
Saipan stations, with an S-P interval of about 10 seconds. The S-P interval
at Anatahan is typically 5 seconds. The largest of these events in the
past 24 hours (1536 UTC) was about magnitude 3.
