Anatahan Volcano Update for November 4-10

For the past week Anatahan volcanic
seismicity has been low, at a level similar to that persisting since early
July. There were no apparent eruption signals or precursory events. Tremor
and seismic energy release are at low levels. High surf and gusty winds
contributed to a high background level, particularly on station ANA2
(Anatahan East). Regional seismicity was low. The following
earthquakes were well recorded on at least two of the four CNMI stations;
none was local to Anatahan:
