Anatahan Volcano Update
Submitted Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at 1200 local Anatahan time
Volcanic earthquakes remained essentially non-existent again today,

level, i.e. between the background level of January and peak level of
February 5-7.
Anatahan Volcano Update
Submitted Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 1100 local Anatahan time
The episode of volcanic earthquakes from February 1 to 8 appears to
have ended for now. Also, what appeared to be low frequency tremor during
the last couple of days was mostly caused by inclement weather, not
the volcano.
