The tsunami spread east and southwest from its source near Halape at about 300 km per hour. At Honuʻapo and Whittington County Park, southwest of the earthquake epicenter, the tsunami demolished a warehouse, leaving behind only the foundation (above), and destroyed nearby park facilities. |
