July 21 Eruption Overview Map: October 30, 2009

Map showing the extent of the July 21, 2007 eruption flow field, including the currently active Thanksgiving Eve Breakout (TEB) flow, relative to surrounding communities. Light red is the area of the flow as of October 25, 2009, while the bright red shows the flow field expansion mapped by HVO geologists between October 25 and October 30. Flows erupted earlier during the 1983-present Pu`u `Ō `ō-Kupaianaha eruption are shown in more muted colors and labeled with the years in which they were active.
